College Counseling at BBS allows students and their families to emerge from their educational experience in school feeling confident and capable of transitioning smoothly into University life. Our role is to guide learners to make the best decisions related to choice of institution and application submission. It is fundamental to our thinking that the final decision-making role remains that of the student and his or her family.
To assist in the process, the college counselors work extensively with students in High School on the following areas:
It is important to note that not all students are accepted into every institution for which they apply. For confidentiality and privacy purposes, the College Counseling Office does not, without prior permission, disclose information about a student’s application process and final university destination.
The Behavior Management program is a support tool in line with Bahrain Bayan School’s vision. The expected outcome is to have well-behaved and well-rounded students that are able to solve conflicts and mediate between peers in order to assure a safer and more comfortable learning environment. The Bahrain Bayan School is leading a behavior modification program, based on implementing activities that enriches and develops student’s self-esteem, leadership skills, positive communication, conflict resolution and decision making skills.

Student Mediation
Our Student Mediation program is a conflict resolution-based program that aims to reduce conflict between students, teaches students to reach consensus that is based on a win-win solution, and supports students who need help.
Counseling is provided as part of each division in the school. Our welcoming counselors are always around the school interacting with students and parents to develop a solid relationship based on trust and confidentiality.
Part of the counseling department is providing Acadmic advice to students. Counselors are responsible for following up with teachers and department head regarding any struggeling students, who are advised to take the school's support program.
