Students may sometimes need extra support as they navigate through school, social life and the other aspects of growing up. The Additional Educational Assistance (AEA) Department at Bayan offers a helping hand to all students in managing any academic or developmental challenges that come their way.

Through a Response to Intervention (RTI) approach, we seek to identify learning needs early. We then work towards offering the appropriate support services to our students through our team of specialized teachers. Our program gives students who face academic challenges in reading and/or math have access to intervention lessons or in-class support. AEA teachers work closely with classroom teachers to design differentiation and small-group sessions that give students a boost in mastering their subject areas. They also develop individualized learning plans to support students in reaching their goals. 

This service is available at an additional fee and placement decisions are made quarterly.
